Bumper damage is not an index of occupant motion or injury potential.
If you want to know if the car is damaged have it examined by a qualified auto mechanic or body shop specialist. A person on the other hand should be examined by a licensed, skilled and experienced doctor to make a determination if an injury has or has not occurred.
There doesn’t need to be a loss of consciousness to sustain a cerebral concussion. Any alteration in consciousness, even brief confusion caused by a blow to the head from an accelerating seatback in a rear impact crash or an inertial injury delivering an acceleration pulse to the neck and head can cause a concussion.
